H.O.G. Chapter Ride - Can’t Drive 55, But you Can Eat There

The ride to Hwy 55 Burgers, Shakes & Fries is on. There is some weather due to roll through overnight. However, if it stalls out over our area, it could change the status of the ride. Please check back here or our Facebook page Sunday morning. If the ride is delayed or canceled, it will be posted by 10:00 a.m.

Come join RCs Bob G. and George V. on this Chapter Ride!!  It's a 105 mile round trip to to Hwy 55 Burgers, Shakes & Fries in Fayetteville, TN. 

Hwy 55 has all sorts of good eats for lunch midway through a Sunday afternoon ride: Five different burgers, four kinds of cheesesteaks, fried and grilled chicken baskets & sandwiches, shrimp platters & sandwiches, a chopped steak platter, hot dogs, grilled cheese, and for those wanting to go healthy… four kinds of salads. They also have frozen custard for dessert… scoops, concretes, splits, sundaes, and shakes. Options, we have options… so bring along your appetite and enjoy some good food and good times hanging with your Redstone HOG family!

Plan to meet up at the Shell Station (Greenbriar/I565 Exchange) at 11:30am. Ride brief is at 11:45am, with KSU at 12 noon. 

We’ll be taking Mooresville Rd up into Ardmore, then catch AL 110, and ride it up to Fayetteville. After lunch, we’ll head home by taking Hwy 231 to Bob Wallace / MLK Jr Hwy / Research Park, hanging a right on Capshaw, then picking up Mooresville Rd to Greenbriar and back to RHD.

ETA back at the dealership is 4:15pm.

Open Event: This event is open to Chapter members, National H.O.G. members and other guests as desired.  All riders and passengers must sign a release. 

Impairment Policy: The consumption and use of alcohol is a serious personal responsibility involving the safety of family, riding friends, and the individual HOG member.  Alcohol consumption before or during a motorcycling activity is not safe, responsible behavior.  Redstone Chapter #4052 requests you “think before you drink” with the above in mind and refrain from consuming any number of impairment drinks that total more than the number of wheels you are on.  Riders whose skills are observed or suspected to be impaired by alcohol or drugs before riding cannot join the ride.

Photography Policy: Photographing, filming, recording and videotaping of activities and events will be occurring Redstone Chapter events. By entering the H.O.G.® event area, you irrevocably grant permission to the Harley-Davidson Motor Company® and its agents to photograph, film, record and/or videotape you and use (and authorize the use of) your name, image, likeness, voice, and/or biographical or other information in any and all media now known or hereinafter developed in perpetuity for any and all purposes.
