H.O.G. Chapter Ride - Long Run - Savannah, Georgia!!

Members!

The 2025 H.O.G. Chapter 4052 Long Run ride is slated for Savannah, Georgia!  We'll travel on Thursday, September 4 and Monday, September 8.  We'll spend 3 days in Savannah and enjoy the area with some rides and activities. 

Please join RCs Deno M. and Shawn B. as we hit our annual Chapter Long Run to Savannah, Georgia!!  Please RSVP your intent to roll with us!  

We'll meet/stage at Circle K (1582 US-72E, Huntsville, AL 35811--Moorse Mill/Hwy 72) @ 8am.  We'll go KSU @ 8:30am.  Route details TBD.

Here is a "tentative" itinerary:

Travel To Day 1 (9/4) - 6 1/2 hrs - Savannah, GA
Day 1 (9/5) - Area Riding - Short Day (H-D Check-ins, scenic routes, etc)
Day 2 (9/6) - Down Day (Downtown Historic area tour, etc)
Day 3 (9/7) - Area Riding - Short Day
Travel Back (9/8) - 6 1/2 hrs - Huntsville, AL

Please attend a pre-planning meeting after our May 10 Chapter Meeting @ 10-10:30am @ RHD.  We'll go over meet locations, routes, enroute stops, lodging ideas, and other important & pertinent topics--to include a question/answer session.  Even if not "locked-in" to go, feel free to hit this meeting to gain more insight to go.

WHAT YOU CAN DO NOW---Start arranging your stay location in Savannah (AirBnB, VRBO, or hotel).  Note:  Tracking RSVPs of others going will assist in linking up with others for cost-sharing.

Closed Event: Chapter activities are conducted primarily for the benefit of H.O.G. Chapter members. Closed Events are those events open to Chapter members and one guest per member.  All guests must sign an event release. Be aware, all rides and events are subject to change or cancellation due to weather or other circumstances beyond our control.

Impairment Policy: The consumption and use of alcohol is a serious personal responsibility involving the safety of family, riding friends, and the individual HOG member.  Alcohol consumption before or during a motorcycling activity is not safe, responsible behavior.  Redstone Chapter #4052 requests you “think before you drink” with the above in mind and refrain from consuming any number of impairment drinks that total more than the number of wheels you are on.  Riders whose skills are observed or suspected to be impaired by alcohol or drugs before riding cannot join the ride.

Photography Policy: Photographing, filming, recording and videotaping of activities and events will be occurring Redstone Chapter events. By entering the H.O.G.® event area, you irrevocably grant permission to the Harley-Davidson Motor Company® and its agents to photograph, film, record and/or videotape you and use (and authorize the use of) your name, image, likeness, voice, and/or biographical or other information in any and all media now known or hereinafter developed in perpetuity for any and all purposes.
