Join RC’s Bob G. and John B. on a weekday Chapter Ride to lunch at Pizza Ed, Alabama’s #1 pizza as per AL.com.

Pizza Ed features both Chicago style deep dish and New York style pizzas, offered with a variety of toppings. For a change of pace, they also offer sandwiches, salads, fried ravioli, fried pickles, wings, calzones, and strombolis. So… bring your appetite!

We’ll be meeting at Redstone H-D at 9:30am, briefing at 9:45am, and rolling out with KSU at 10am.  Our route will take us to Athens where we’ll pick up AL-99. We’ll head northwest until we meet up with AL-207 in Anderson, which will take us southbound until we hang a right on US-72 for a quick jaunt over to AL-101. We’ll stop there for a short break in Rogersville, then resume our trek to lunch by continuing down to AL-157. We’ll then go left on AL-36, which we’ll take to Pizza Ed in Hartselle. After lunch, we’ll take a short freeway hop up I-65 to I-565 and back to the dealership.

Round trip is approximately 126 miles, with lunch around 1:15. We should arrive back at RHD around 3:00.

Open Event: This event is open to Chapter members, National H.O.G. members and other guests as desired.  All riders and passengers must sign a release. 

Impairment Policy: The consumption and use of alcohol is a serious personal responsibility involving the safety of family, riding friends, and the individual HOG member.  Alcohol consumption before or during a motorcycling activity is not safe, responsible behavior.  Redstone Chapter #4052 requests you “think before you drink” with the above in mind and refrain from consuming any number of impairment drinks that total more than the number of wheels you are on.  Riders whose skills are observed or suspected to be impaired by alcohol or drugs before riding cannot join the ride.

Photography Policy: Photographing, filming, recording and videotaping of activities and events will be occurring Redstone Chapter events.
