SGR - Tennessee-North Carolina Challenge Coin Run

***UPDATE *** (10/7/24, 11:46am)

THIS SGR IS ON!  Carly has confirmed with the Robbinsville area...roads are good for travel and no issues exist to prevent this trip from occurring.  The trip length has changed...it is now only an "overnighter"!

The Plan:  Leave out on October 11th and stay in the Robbinsville Quality inn. Saturday, (10/12) we will hit the NC and TN 50 Rides, One Nation check points and return home that evening.

Please plan to meet/stage at the Circle K (1582 US -72 Huntsville, Alabama) on Friday, October 11th @ 8am.  We'll go KSU @ 8:30am and travel direct to the Robbinsville area.

This SGR has been cancelled with plans to reschedule to a later date.  This cancellation is due to the destruction in the planned ride area due to the aftermath of all the rain/storms hitting the area.  Please stay tuned for a future rescheduled date.

Based on Hurricane aftermath type storms headed to the area for the weekend of 9/27-9/29, this ride has been rescheduled to 10/11-10/13. Please plan now to join in on the new ride dates!!

Chapter Members!

Come join Carly C. & Bill S. on a weekend 50 Rides 1 Nation H.O.G. Challenge Coin Run!

They will leave Friday, October 11, to Robbinsville, N.C. by route of Tellico Plains, TN and over the Cherohala Skyway, staying at the Quality Inn.

After checking in we can ride down to Tapoco Lodge for dinner. 

Saturday - Ride to the Fontana Scenic overlook & Deals gap for  N.C. and TN state coins.  Afterwards, off to the Foothills, Townsend, Sugarland visitor center, then Newfound Gap to Cherokee for lunch. 

After lunch we will hop on the Blue Ridge and loop back to Cherokee, N.C. Quality Inn on 441.

Sunday - We'll work our way back home.

Open Event: This event is open to Chapter members, National H.O.G. members and other guests as desired.  All riders and passengers must sign a release. 

Impairment Policy: The consumption and use of alcohol is a serious personal responsibility involving the safety of family, riding friends, and the individual HOG member.  Alcohol consumption before or during a motorcycling activity is not safe, responsible behavior.  Redstone Chapter #4052 requests you “think before you drink” with the above in mind and refrain from consuming any number of impairment drinks that total more than the number of wheels you are on.  Riders whose skills are observed or suspected to be impaired by alcohol or drugs before riding cannot join the ride.

Photography Policy: Photographing, filming, recording and videotaping of activities and events will be occurring Redstone Chapter events. By entering the H.O.G.® event area, you irrevocably grant permission to the Harley-Davidson Motor Company® and its agents to photograph, film, record and/or videotape you and use (and authorize the use of) your name, image, likeness, voice, and/or biographical or other information in any and all media now known or hereinafter developed in perpetuity for any and all purposes.
