THIS RIDE IS A GO! We realize there are still pockets of rain in the area...please make a safe decision based on your location. Please stay rider aware of wet roadways! With such, most likely, rain gear will be needed due to road spray/light rain here/there. We are looking for all to totally clear by 10-10:30am...LET'S RIDE!

The weather has been fluxing--but overall, things tend to look a bit better after 10am across our ride route.
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE--we will delay 1 hour. Therefore, meet/stage time is now 9:30am; KSU will be @ 10am. Same meet location at Buc-ees.

The weather for Saturday continues to improve! We are now at 37% rain around our start location and 24% rain in the Summertown, TN area! It's getting better! Please stay tuned

Weather Channel projections for Athens are now 44% rain w/scattered thundershowers in the morning. Our ride destination, Summertown, TN, is showing 32% rain w/isolated thunderstorms in the morning. Based on our Saturday am check, we may delay by an hour or so...bottomline for now...keep checking back here for the latest update! The goal is to get this ride in (within safety reason)--pressing to go versus cancel though!

Come join RCs Deno M. & George V. on this Chapter Ride.....we're off to Shaffer Farms...for a taste of Texas eats!!
We'll stage at the south-end parking lot of Buc'ees (see address below) at 8:30am and go KSU @ 9am.
We'll take a scenic route on north-westerly roadways and after a pit-stop break along the route, we'll make our way through Lawrenceburg then roll on in to the Shaffer Farms BBQ restaurant for some good eats. After our lunch break, we'll head back to RHD in a more direct route.
