--------------------------
Come join RC's Carmon W. & Jesse E. on a Chapter Ride to the Hellfighters USA Mortocycle Shop in Laurel, MS.
Please plan to meet/stage at the Shell Station (Greenbriar/I565 exchange) @ 6:30am. We'll go KSU @ 7am.
Heading down, we will take I65 south to interstate 20 in Birmingham, then hit I59 in Meridian MS where it is a straight shot to Hellfighters USA. Across the street is Phillips Drive-in, a little burger joint for lunch. Half a mile down the road are 2 companies that do tours of the homes from the show Hometown. The last tours are at 2:00 PM on Saturdays so planning on booking for those. We'll head back to Hellfighters to shop and get a tour of the dealership and facilities from one of the managers.
We'll hit dinner after they close at 5pm (haven't picked a place yet but open to suggestions) then there are 4 hotels basically in the same parking lot 1/2 mile from the dealership. Would love to get an idea of how many people would be going--PLEASE RSVP!
I have some contacts that might can get us a block of rooms at one hotel at a discounted price so shoot me a text if you are coming and I will see what I can do. My cell is 256-374-5423. I would like to have a count by 5/13 so I can work on hotels to give everyone time to reserve a room and plan.
On Sunday morning, we'll meet for breakfast and a little shopping sightseeing (again open to suggestions) with the plan to have a lunch stop somewhere before heading out. The plan is to leave out around 1pm and taking a slightly different route back that would avoid Birmingham by hitting Hwy 69 from Tuscaloosa to Cullman.
Here are the links to the tour companies:
Bolton Home Town Tour - 7-passenger golf cart tour that takes 45 mins. https://www.boltonhometowntour.com/booking-calendar $30/ea
Laurel Home Tours - 8-passenger Hummer Limo that says the tours can take up to an hour. http://laurelhometours.com/book/ $25/ea.
